Palisades High School proudly recognized as a top high school in America

    Dear Students, Parents and Guardians,

The Palisades School District routinely conducts a variety of emergency drills including: bus evacuation drills, fire drills, lockdown drills and weather-emergency drills. Please be reminded that on Monday, November 20th the high school will execute an A.L.I.C.E. drill, which stands for ALERT, LOCKDOWN, INFORM, COUNTER AND EVACUATE.

Tuesday, November 21st, will mark the last day of classes prior to the Thanksgiving break. Students will be dismissed at 10:51 a.m. Only morning (AM) Technical school students will report to the Upper Bucks Technical School. However, the Technical School students will return prior to our dismissal. Since all 4 of our class periods will meet on an abbreviated schedule, Afternoon (PM) Technical School students may leave after period 2 as long as they have presented a parent note.

On Thursday evening, there was a Community Bonfire to celebrate the District and State level performers from the Fall Season. The Marching Band, Girls Cross Country Team along with the Dylan McNichol, the Girls Soccer team and the Football team were recognized! Many thanks to the Bonfire Planning Committee, which consisted of the following members:  Dr. O’Connell, Mrs. Donna Holmes, Mr. Bob Musantry, Ms. Becky George, Mrs. Lindsay Fitz, Mrs. Joanne Allen, Mr. Abel Maldonado, Mrs. Ella Marsh, Mr. Gerry Giarratana, Mrs. Kara Sklodowski, Mr. Bill Schick, Mrs. Susan Keogh, Mr. Jim Keogh, Mrs. Amber Schlosser, Mr. Al Crouthamel and Mr. Sean Kirk.

A special thank you to so many people that made the Bonfire possible, which included the following:

Ottsville Fire Company, the Springtown Fire Company, and the Upper Black Eddy Fire Company, Mr. Tony DelGuerico for donating the pallets, Mr. Wayne Nicholas for use of the porta-potties, Mr. Rob Reilly for his DJ expertise, and to Mr. Al Crouthamel and the entire maintenance and grounds crew for their work! Also, special thanks to Dr. O’Connell, Dr. Scheibenhofer and Donna Holmes, who helped the crew build the pile of pallets!

TomorrowSaturday, November 18th, the Football team will depart the high school at 4:00 p.m. The local fire companies will escort the team buses from the high school to the Hellertown. Feel free to stop out along the route to see them off.
