Palisades School District Technology
Welcome to the Palisades School District Technology webpage.
Palisades School District has formed a Technology Committee, comprised of local stakeholders, that makes key decisions on technology purchases and budgeting, as well as creates visionary documents such as the Technology Strategic Plan, the Technology Needs Vision, and the K-8 Technology Curriculum. This committee has also been responsible for the creation of board approved policies and technology personnel job descriptions. The committee meets during the school year every other month. The committee has developed a Technology Plan that is on file with the Pennsylvania Department of Education and is renewed every 3 years. The committee is also responsible for the technology portion of the District's Strategic Plan.
Within this site you'll find links to technology related documents and policies. Some of these documents are in their native Microsoft Office formats so you will need the appropriate Microsoft Office application to view them, or you can download free viewers from Microsoft's website here. You can also download a free fully functional Office Suite called OpenOffice.org that is capable of reading and writing Microsoft Office document formats here.
