Dear Parents/Guardians & Durham Nockamixon Students:

I hope that this letter finds you healthy and happy this holiday season.  I am full of mixed emotions as I formally share that I will not be returning to Durham Nockamixon Elementary School after the winter break. 

My life has changed considerably since signing on with the Palisades School District in May of 2011.  I have recently married and my husband Mikkel is a teacher from Denmark.  Now that we are married, we would like to move forward with the next step of our personal lives, which for us means that I will be moving to Denmark in January of 2013. 

Durham Nockamixon has been my first home as a School Counselor and I have enjoyed my time here.  I sincerely appreciate the warmth and kindness that the each and every member of the Durham Nockamixon community has shown to me since my arrival.  Though I was only the School Counselor here for a short time, I hope that I was able to make a difference for you and your son or daughter. I will miss each and every one of my students and wish them all the very best moving forward in their educational careers.
