Palisades High School, located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, is home to approximately 600 students and 65 faculty/staff members. The library media center offers multiple print, nonprint, and electronic resources to its patrons. The collection is continually developed to support and enhance PHS curriculum. The library media center also participates in Access Pennsylvania, an interlibrary loan program that increases access for its patrons. The Library Media Specialist, Mrs. Karen Hornberger, has her master’s degree from McDaniel College (formerly Western Maryland College) and continues her education with an array of additional courses. She began her career as a Library Media Specialist in 1995 and is Palisades proud!

 

The mission of the Palisades High School library media center is to strive for excellence as an instructional resource and inviting environment for all students, staff and community members. The library media center is dedicated to providing for varied educational needs and interests through continued evaluation and improvement efforts. As a partner in instruction, the library media center works to encourage high student achievement and lifelong learning.
