| PALISADES HIGH SCHOOL FINAL EXAM SCHEDULE-GRADES 9-10-11-12 June 2013 Monday, June 10th-Regular day of school for all students · Last day of attendance at Upper Bucks Tech School for all Palisades students. Tuesday, June 11th (Periods 1 and 2 Exams) · Students report to their Period 1 and 2 exams. Students should report directly to their exam rooms. · Period 1 exam will run from 7:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. · Period 2 exam will run from 9:25 a.m. to 10:55 a.m. · Students with a ride home may leave after their exams. · Students waiting until the end of the day (2:32 p.m.) for a bus ride must report to the cafeteria. Lunch will be served from 11:00-11:40 a.m. · All students must report to school to either take an exam or complete a project. Wednesday, June 12th (Periods 3 and 4 Exams) · Students report to their Period 3 and 4 exams. Students should report directly to their exam rooms. · Period 3 exam will run from 7:45 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. · Period 4 exam will run from 9:25 a.m. to 10:55 a.m. · Students with a ride home may leave after their exams. · Students waiting until the end of the day (2:32 p.m.) for a bus ride must report to the cafeteria. Thursday, June 13th (Exam make-up day) Last Day of School · If a student needs to complete or make-up an exam they must report to school. Students must contact the respective teacher to schedule a time to take their exam. · Mandatory Graduation practice for seniors, 10:00 a.m. High School Auditorium · Senior picnic, 12 noon Friday, June 14th CLASS OF 2013 GRADUATION · Seniors report to staging area/room assignment by 6:15 p.m. · Graduation 7 p.m. SENIOR EXAM EXEMPTION Seniors who have an average of a 90% or better will be exempt from the final exam. For example, a student can be exempt if they score lower than an A- on the mid-term exam as long as the “average” is 90% or better. The formula to derive will be as follows: 45% MP, 45% MP, 10% mid-term. *This exemption criteria does not apply for Advanced Placement courses. *SENIOR FINAL EXAM EXEMPTION FOR AP COURSE TEACHER’S EXAMS • Final exam exemptions for seniors as cited above does NOT apply for AP Exams • Students who have an 85% course average or better AND take the AP Exam are eligible for exemption from the teacher’s exam. |
