For the Week Ending 09/02/2011:
Welcome Back to Our Students and Their Families! Of course, getting the year started is exciting, and often not without a bump or two...or this year, a hurricane. We hope that your year is off to a great start, and yet we recognize how stressful it has been especially for those who do not have electricity. We do hope that the situation is short lived.
District calendars should have been received by most of our students, staff and families; they will be distributed on Tuesday to our high school students, along with a day planner for their use.
FYI - I will be attempting to use Twitter...so, if you would like to follow me, you can do so @dvholmes61 If you tweet Palisades' news, please use #palisd
Finally, E-News bulletins will now be sent from a new e-mail address - firstname.lastname@example.org
- simply so that I can better manage the "bouncebacks" that I have been getting through this system. For parents: if you change your e-mail address, we do automatically update it for our AlertNow system
- which is used for "emergency" or "need to know" messages. For everyone: Palisades E-News is delivered through our Schoolwires Web site; you actively register to receive E-News by accessing the "register" button on our Web site. It is helpful for you to update your Web site/E-News account if you change your e-mail address - any questions, please contact me at email@example.com
