CONGRATS TO OUR CHEERLEADERS-TAKING LONDON BY STORM!
Varsity cheerleaders, Madison Rodd and Mary Kennedy, were chosen as "All-American" cheerleaders for their squad by the UCA (United Cheerleader Association). They now have the opportunity to go to London to represent our Palisades High School and to march and perform in the New Year's Day Parade across the Atlantic! The cost is $3,000.00 per girl. Madison and Mary will be holding a bake sale/coin toss at Turkey Hill on Saturday, October 8th from 9:00AM-2:00PM to help defray the cost of their trip. Please stop by to help them reach their goal!
BRADEN'S BELIEVERS UPDATE:
On Saturday, October 1st, the Lehigh Valley Steelers football team will donate $1 for each ticket sold to that evening’s game to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund to support our team, Braden’s Believers. Braden is Kathy Freier's (secretary at PHS) 8 year old grandson who was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes 2 years ago. Please clink on the Link below for more information and to view a video created by Braden’s sister (Kathy's granddaughter, Emily) to introduce you to Braden.
Their team will be participating in our second annual JDRF walk which will be held at Bucks County Community College on Saturday, October 23rd. Please come to the game on 10/1 to support this cause or if you’d like to make a donation, you may do so online @ www.jdrf.org (Click on Donate/put in your state/our team name-Braden’s Believers )or you may send your donation to Kathy Freier at PHS. (Checks payable to JDRF)
Any donation, no matter how large or small, is greatly appreciated. Over 80% of all funds contributed to JDRF goes directly to research to find a cure for this disease.

LET'S SHRED!
Begin to clean out and gather all your personal documents! The Upper Bucks County Technical School and QNB Bank announce a Shredder Event on Saturday, October 22,2011 from 11:00am-1:00pm on the school campus .
The UBCTS is located at 3115 Ridge Road, Perkasie, Pa 18944
There is a small fee for shredding and funds raised will go to student activities at UBCTS. Also, there will also be a pre-ordered hoagie sale. Please see flyer below for additional details.
