GET IN THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT WITH THE CLASS OF 2014!

The Class of 2014 at Palisades High School is sponsoring a Holiday Festival on Friday, December 16th from 5:00-9:00pm in the high school cafeteria. Proceeds from this event will be used for the class prom, senior class activities, and senior class trip. We will be having pictures with Santa, crafts for children, local vendors, and a baked sale. Hope you can join us to celebrate the season of giving!

Congratuations to Pirates' New Head Football Coach

This past week a stakeholder team interviewed several highly qualified candidates for our head football coaching position. We are happy to announce that Kevin Ronalds has been selected and recommended by the interview team to fill the position. Please join us in congratulating Coach Ronalds! Go Pirates!

MARK YOUR CALENDAR FOR OUR UPCOMING "PARENT CHAT":

We will be hosting another Parent Chat (in collaboration with Upper Bucks Healthy Community Healthy Youth) on Thursday, January 5th. The chat will take place at the Tinicum Township Building at 6:30 PM and our topic involves cyber crime, underage drinking and information about juvenile arrests. We will have local police officers there to speak on these issues/topics. Special thanks to Judy Pason for arranging these thought-provoking, helpful opportunities for parents in our community.

UPCOMING DATES FOR STRENGHTENING FAMILIES PROGRAM ANNOUNCED!

Partners in Action for Community Togetherness (PACT) has confirmed the following dates for our upcoming Strengthening Families sessions:

Cycle 2/Winter Cycle: Thursday evenings at Palisades Middle School :

2/2, 2/9, 2/16, 2/23, 3/1, 3/8, 3/15

Cycle 3/Spring Cycle: Monday evenings at Durham-Nockamixon Elementary School:

4/9, 4/16, 4/23, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14, 5/21

The Strengthening Families Program is geared to families and young adults ages 10-14; the objective is to increase openess and communication while giving families and youth the tools they need to navigate young adulthood. The first cycle just ended and 10 families have participated and enjoyed a rich learning experience peppered with loads of fun. If you might be interested in an upcoming session, please contact karen@cohesiveoutcomes.com to reserve your spot! The sessions are free to participants; dinners are served to our enrollees - many more amenities! Please contact Karen for more info.
