Here are a few comments about my teaching philosophy:
I believe students learn by doing; therefore, many of my assignments are projects. Sometimes there is a misconception that classes taught in a computer lab are easier because a student works most of the time and the teacher talks less of the time; however,
the best way to get students excited about learning is to get them involved as much as possible during the 90 minute block period.
Student interaction with me and with fellow students is also key to learning. It is also key to retaining what was learned.
Hopefully, your child will learn a lot of practical and valuable information in one of my classes--information that will be useful throughout his/her entire life.
